ABOUT
The idea behind my coyote food trucks is that they would be a collectable toy like a blind box but also customizable and unique like actual food trucks. My design for my collectable toy was actual coyotes and how they live in city environments without people even knowing about it. Coyotes actually survive longer when living off human trash than when living in the wild.
So the idea was coyotes come out at night and trendy food trucks come out at night. People could collect all the of them or customize their own truck and be creative and unique.
DOODLES THAT INSPIRED
This started with a trip to Martha's Vineyard, to learn more about design. While there I heard about a coyote swimming between the islands, because it had been swept out to sea from the mainland during a storm. On the islands this coyote apparently didn't have predators and was having a field day. I kept thinking about this coyote.
SKETCHES
I made 4 types of coyotes in my collection, but there are many more than that. I wanted also have fun foods for people to collect. A fun thing I added was a trash can because coyotes survive off our trash and can actually live for 20 years doing so. Another fun easter egg I added was a feces or scat, not because coyotes eat feces, but because that's how you can track animals, including coyotes, and also, what fun collectible toy doesn't have poop?

PROTOTYPE
This is my first prototype. I've decided that I wanted the truck to be larger and the coyote to be a variation of different colors based on the types of coyotes living in the USA.
THANK YOU!
I still want to make a couple small changes and get all the pieces printed in the correct size, but in general I am very happy with it.
